About Our Practice

Office Philosophy

Dr. Lefkoff strives to provide the highest quality of periodontal care by paying meticulous attention to the details. She combines her knowledge and skills with compassion and exceptional customer service to make your entire experience in her office outstanding.

Dr. Lefkoff and her staff are professional, kind, polite, efficient, conscientious, and caring.

Compassionate Care

Your experience in Dr. Lefkoff's office will be unique. You will almost always be seen promptly. You will get a thorough examination, and Dr. Lefkoff will take the time to explain her diagnosis and treatment recommendations. You will be treated with respect and dignity, and will be able to express your dental desires and concerns.

Dr. Lefkoff will provide you with the most current, sophisticated, and advanced techniques available. She combines the latest technology with sound reasoning skills and good judgment. Her modern office is meticulously clean and exceeds MOSHA requirements for infection control. Dr. Lefkoff uses digital radiography, three dimensional imaging, and sophisticated micro-surgical instruments.

Since Dr. Lefkoff's passion and expertise in the field of periodontics continues to flourish, starting in 2015 she is exclusively providing periodontal care and will no longer be placing dental implants.

Advanced Technology

Digital radiography (digital x-ray) is part of Dr. Lefkoff's practice and has many advantages. It allows her to obtain diagnostic quality, detail-rich images quickly, and to electronically share these radiographs with your general dentist or other specialists, which makes collaboration of your care more efficient and accurate. More importantly for your health, digital radiographs require less radiation than film.

Dr. Lefkoff uses microsurgical instruments to perform minimally invasive soft tissue grafts using an acellular dermal matrix, such as AlloDerm®. This technique has many benefits for patients, including less pain, less swelling and better cosmetic results. The acellular dermal matrix is a sterile human connective tissue matrix that contains no blood and no cells and is used instead of the patient's own palatal tissue. Use of this tissue avoids the complications, discomfort, and fear associated with the use of donor tissue from the patient's palate. The technique results in much less pain and swelling, and the cosmetic results are generally excellent.
