Compassionate Care
Your experience in Dr. Lefkoff’s office will be unique. You will almost always be seen promptly. You will get a thorough examination, and Dr. Lefkoff will take the time to explain her diagnosis and treatment recommendations. You will be treated with respect and dignity, and will be able to express your dental desires and concerns.
Dr. Lefkoff will provide you with the most current, sophisticated, and advanced techniques available. She combines the latest technology with sound reasoning skills and good judgment. Her modern office is meticulously clean and exceeds MOSHA requirements for infection control. Dr. Lefkoff uses digital radiography, three dimensional imaging, and the most recent and advanced implant systems.
Advanced Technology
Digital radiography (digital x-ray) is part of her practice and has many advantages. It allows her to obtain diagnostic quality, detail-rich images quickly, and to electronically share these radiographs with your general dentist or other specialists, which makes collaboration of your care more efficient and accurate. More importantly for your health, digital radiographs require less radiation than film.
Dr. Lefkoff also uses 3-D imaging when appropriate, primarily in planning for implants. She uses SimPlant software, a 3D implant analysis and planning system, to develop accurate and predictable implant treatment plans. Surgical guides based on this planning provide a link between her plan and the actual surgery.
Dr. Lefkoff is one of the only implantologists in the Columbia area who has the Navigator System by Biomet 3i. This cutting edge surgical kit allows her to precisely place implants in their desired locations.

Payment for services
For your initial appointment full payment will be due at the time of service, depending on your specific situation.
For subsequent appointments, full or partial payment will be collected at the time of service depending on your specific needs. We will tell you the fees ahead of time and provide you with a written treatment plan that clearly shows what your financial obligation will be.
Insurance Coverage
We do not participate with any insurance plans; however, we will happily and promptly submit claims to your insurance company on your behalf.
For appointments other than your initial appointment, if your insurance company covers the services you need and if they will send benefits to our office, you will be asked to pay your estimated copayment at the time the services are provided. We will promptly submit the insurance claim. If there is a difference between the estimated copayment and the actual amount your insurance company pays our office, you will be informed and responsible for that amount.
If your insurance company does not cover the services you need or they will not send benefits to our office, payment for the services will be collected at the time they are provided. We will happily and promptly submit the insurance claim on your behalf. Any benefits paid by your insurance company will be sent directly to you.
Your insurance reimbursement is based on a contract between you and/or your employer and your insurance carrier. Our office has no involvement in that contractual relationship.
Financing
For those that would prefer an extended payment plan, outside financing is available though our office.
